Team-Up Thursday: Week Eighteen (OUT OF FOCUS)

out of focus dip

I had a lot of fun trying to come up with ideas for OUT OF FOCUS this week. I finally figured that I'm literally out of focus without my glasses, so my shot needed to incorporate that idea. What developed was a slightly eerie photograph. And what a contrast to Melody this week. Her shot is so soft and lovely where mine is more...well...creepy, for lack of a better description.

What do you have to show us this week?

P.S. Next week, Melody and I are doing SIGNS.

I am so glad you did this theme! The second I saw you had your post up and the theme was in the title I said to myself, "Ooo Ooo Ooo!" Like I couldnt get there quick enough! You pulled this off fantastically with your glasses. I can see why you said creepy because of the distortedness of your face, but you cant look at it that. Very creative. I love it. Bravo!

Christina and I did Rule of Thirds this week.

I wouldn't say creepy, but interesting. I love the idea. Also, the dark/light contrast between the two photos really make each one stand out.

Here is our offering this week! O is for...

Oh I like your literal interpretation of out of focus. Mine involves a bit of fuzziness of the heart at times.

Here is my and Marty's contribution for out of focus.

There is definitely a surreal aspect to your half, which is very cool. I love the spin you put on oof. It's different from anything else I've seen. :)

Carrie and I did "Smoke" this week.

I love the b&w, I think it really portrays the theme. I like the contrast between the B&W of your and the color and ethereal feel of Melody's.

What a contrast these two are! And I too LOVE your shot. As soon as it came up I was like 'wow, how CLEVER is that???' Also, I totally sympathise with the eyesight thing....
