Team-Up Thursday: Week Three

Melody and I did "LOVE" this week, and we came up with really different photos:

love diptych

The sprinkles of the donuts just pop in this pair, especially since mine's in black and white. Yum:).

Last weekend, I was trying to figure out what angle I should take for the theme: photos of the boys? pictures of nature? chocolate? Too many things to love, I say.

Then, on Monday, I did a one-year-old shoot for a friend. When I was looking through the photos on my computer, I saw this one...and it spoke to me. Even though it's in silhouette, the expressions on mother and child are so full of joy and love. Just perfect for this week's theme.

What do you have to show us this week? Check our flickr group for full coverage :).

(p.s. Here for the first time? Drop me a line at monamegs@hotmail.com if you need a partner.)

Again, the colors and the b/w are both stunning. As you said, great sprinkles! My hubby even just said, "Mmmm, those donuts look good." :0) But your right, you can see the loving expression on both mother and child in yours. Great shots Gals!

Megan, I love that shot so much. You don't need to see their faces to feel the love.

Ours theme is LOVE.

The donuts look so yummy (especially since I haven't eaten breakfast yet). I LOVE the silhouette. You don't have to see the faces to see the love and joy of both mother and child. Just beautiful!

The photos may have a great contrast to them, but the overall theme is clear as day in both photos. Love-ly! :)

I certainly do feel the love! The color and b&w combo is terrific. Nothing is better than the love between a mother and child - but Krispy Kreme is pretty great! I love that little guy's outstretched arms.

I think both of yours turned out great. I really like the shadows in your shot and the out stretched arms. Very nice. :)

Hi Megan -
This is my first week joining in with Corey! This will be a lot of fun and I'll be able to make some 'new friends'!!! Love your photos - I especially like how the color in the donuts pop against the subdued hues of the black and white. Very nice.
