Best Of...
Just a few shots from our fantastic trip to Hawaii. We were in Oahu again this year, so we tried to do some of the things we didn't get to last year: kayaking, hiking Diamond Head, seeing dolphins, going to the Polynesian Cultural Center, seeing and swimming with sea turtles.
The family shot in the middle is the one shot that I set up and use my remote and timer for on every vacation, so that I actually appear in at least one photo. Timer photos always end up looking a bit stiff, but at least we're all in the shot.
Here's what happens when someone else takes the family shot:
It's cute, but the fact that we're all bunched in the corner, ready to walk out of the photo (and it was worse before I cropped more off the right side) drives me bonkers. That's what I get for being a photo snob, I guess.
This last shot sums up why I'm so glad Hawaii is a state:
How can you not love a state that dolls up the stick figures on their airport restrooms? How's that for some Aloha?

LOL - that last shot is great. I love the lei too. So makes you think of Hawaii. ;) Your collage is great, although I really like the three arms, two with tats, and one with arm bangs. That's hilarious. LOL
I really want to go back. The water, the sun... looks like it was awesome.
We went to the Polynesian Cult. Cnt. and our bus broke down on the way out. We had to get off the bus and switch on a questionable rocky edge. Good times.
Where's your tat? Unless that is you with the buff arm; if it is I am jealous and slightly freaked out.
Did I use the semi-colon right? I never know.
Yay for mom in a photo! Looks like you had a superb time. I can't wait until we can take the kids on a vacation and actually do stuff. Thanks for sharing and giving me hope!
Sure, sure.....rub it in. While all of us are freezing here in the cold and snow, you show us your beach pictures! Haha - just kidding! Looks like you had a great time!
Awesome shots!
I love Hawaii and lived there for a whole year!! I most go back one day and visit all my friends from High School!
