I'm pretty sure Melody's photo needs no explaining. Yep, she's having FUN with Mickey and friends, but she still managed to iPhone me a great photo.
For anyone who either a) doesn't live in the U.S. or b) does not have elementary school-aged children, my photo might be a bit of a mystery. If you don't fall into either of these categories, you probably knew instantly what my photo was: silly bands. My boys have suddenly become obsessed with them. I don't think it will last too long -- unlike Harrison's Thomas the Tank Engine phase when he was three...and four...and five. But they sure are having FUN with them now.

Hit publish too quickly. Both photos are perfect examples of fun and so colorful. My kids aren't into Silly Bands very much but we know kids who wear 100+ of these things.
And we're going to Disney in March!!
I can't wait to take our girls to Disney :) She is rocking the iPhone! We have silly bands here as well. Crazy fad but I guess no crazier than the jelly bracelets I had growing up right? Great shot Megan!

The silly bandz are around here, too! This generation version of slap[ bracelets. :o) The obsession really cracks me up! Years from now, your boys will look back on this photo and laugh. Love the red background. But I'd really love to be having fun there with Mel!

I have to say, I know nothing about silly bands, but your right about the obsessions they have. You get them something and they think its the greatest thing on Earth and then with in a few days or weeks, they are over it!

Silly bands are a big hit around here too. Even my two year old has a thing for them. :) (Now is that an arm or a leg posing though? So slender!)
