Team-Up Thursday: Week Twenty-Five (WHERE YOU LIVE)
When we embarked on our theme this week, I had so many ideas in mind. Most of them revolved around my house and neighborhood. Then I branched out and began thinking about the Portland area. What I ended up with, however, is representative of the state as a whole.
Imagine my surprise when Melody sent her fabulous photo. We both chose very public, wide-reaching views of WHERE WE LIVE (I hope I'm correct in assuming this is the state capitol building in Texas). My original thoughts had all been so small, so intimate, trying to think up ways to represent my house or family life in a single shot. Instead, my shot is much less personal, but still speaks to the theme.
WHERE WE LIVE would actually make a great series. Taking a group of shots, each representing different ways of viewing where I live would make a fascinating compilation.
I can't wait to see how you have interpreted this theme (if you chose to play along this week). Show us WHERE YOU LIVE here and in our flickr pool.
Next week, Melody and I are working on SILHOUETTES...come join us!
P.S. I've got another person looking for a partner. If you or someone you know would like to play along, contact me at monamegs@hotmail.com

cool! how fun! great theme. :) love how different the shots are, and that they both represent your state. :)
Berta and I did WHITE!
WOW, crisp, clean photos! That's a fun theme too. Sure having fun checking in on you each week - thanks for the FUN!
I love this theme. Heather and I added an extra member to our team this week. Is that allowed? I hope so, because we did it anyway. ;)
Here is our take on where we live: http://www.flickr.com/photos/laura_edwards/4795090941/in/pool-1339664@N21/
Those photos are both stunning and so inventive, I def would have tried to photograph my house in some way - you have really opened up my mind over the last 8 weeks that I have been part of this challenge - thanks so much you guys are ALL an inspiration :0)
We did out diptych in Saturday! (I posted today though.) And we did where you live too. In the same way - out and about in our area.
AHHHHHH - another pair of photos who gave me goosebump all over that morning - second time :)
I am blown away of the ideas you both had regarding the theme - and the clearness of both photos - LOVE THEM!!!!
Think Marcelle and I have to postpone our next theme and have to take "where we live"....
GREAT WORK!!!!
You two always seem to be on the same mental wavelength! Your newspaper shot is so clear and sharp, it looks better than a real news paper!
Here is our next letter. I can't believe we're almost done!
Once again amazed by both of your shots.
This week we captured Me Time

Those are both so wonderful! I love your interpretations. The capital building is beautiful and your shot is so simple but speaks so much.
I thought wide then chose small lol :) Angie and I went with you both and did WHERE I LIVE
Thanks again for hosting!
It is the state capital from our recent family field trip. I had tons of pics to chose from for this week's theme but this one fits the dip perfectly.
Kim & I did Where we live... California & Florida. Contrasting views. http://bloggingbradleys.blogspot.com/
Both shots are so clear. Spectacular pairing.
Cara and I did Surprise .
Michel and I followed along with your theme this week as well. While amature me went with the typical house shot, way more creative Michel went with a beautiful shot of her clothes line.

I love both of your shots! As Donna mentioned we followed along with you this week. with Where we live
I like I posted on Melody's blog, I love how the circles contrast with the straight lines of your newspaper.
Lee and I are Trying to Stay Cool here in the heat, but I'm sure we'll do a Where You Live dip in the future!
You two are on the same wavelength. I like that you thought out side the box. When I read the theme the first thing I would have thought of was my home too.
Jen and I did Surprise this week.
I like both shots, very public and recognizable. :)
Marty and I did WHERE I LIVE too.
Here's our take. We couldn't have been much further apart on this one.
