Team-Up Thursday: Week Thirty-One (OLD)
This dip makes me smile. It appears that Rockey and the camera are leaning towards one another, doesn't it? I had trouble with OLD, although I'm not sure why. I settled on my first camera, a hand-me-down from my parents years ago. It's a bit worse for wear, but it still had film in it when I found it. I have it ready to be developed, but I have to call around to find a place that will do it. It's definitely OLD.
Next week, Melody and I are working on SELECTIVE FOCUS. Lots of possibilities there, so join us if you feel so inclined. We are also working on another group project -- a theme we can all do together -- so if you have any suggestions, please let us know.
As always, check out all the dips in our flickr group!

Love this diptych. love old cameras. wonderful shot. and the doggy...looks to be trying to hear better. love that.
Berta and I did NATURE.
These are really GREAT photos - love the light blue color. The dog reminds me of an old, old ad years ago - sure dates me! Is that what you had in mind? Loving the Instamatic camera - wish I would have kept mine. Great examples of OLD!
Like Corey said, we did NATURE
Love the diptych!!! It's perfect together and Rocky is like a little RCA Dog Mini-Me! LOL
I don't have this weeks theme up yet, but I played a little catch up on previous weeks. 'Cause I'm weird that way. Or I just haven't gotten enough sleep lately.
Or both.
STUNNING SHOTS - just love the expressive Jack - so entertaining - an enquiring ming! He is asking WHY he falls under the old category I think! Love both shots - stunning week - also love your theme for next week - a personal favourite style!
Fantastic diptych..... love your idea with this "old" camera - reminds me of the good old times when we really had to think what we wanted to have photographed... I have to say that I now often take photos from different angles and with different lights so it is easy to find the best one. IN the "old days" we had to think first and then to "shoot"...
I was this close to photo-ing an old camera too! Then Rockey licked my leg. Can't wait to find out what's on the film.
Rockey is OLD. She's helping me out with our theme this week.
Those are both GREAT! I love the old camera and what a sweet portrait of Rockey :) How funny that you both had angles of some sort - cool.
We also did OLD this week :)
Thanks for hosting mama! Take care!
Your dip makes my smile too. Such a sweet combo. I bet it will be exciting to see what shows up on that roll of film.
Cara and I did In Season this week.
Looks like Rocky is listening to some tunes! I love the cocked radio by the way. Great color.
Such a great pair this week! I took a photo of our sweet Snickers, he is 13 yrs. old! Your photo of the camera reminds me of my brother. He collects old cameras and equipment!
Have a great day!
Angie
I love the old camera. That's neat you still even had it. :) I love the tilt of the head! Too cute. You're right there is something neat about the angles of both those shots. They go together nicely.
So here is our post. Sorry I'm a wee bit late.
OLD
Love that camera. I just bought two vintage cameras, neither in perfect shape, but they were cheap and I love looking at them. Our "old" is here.
oh this is so wonderful!!! what a cool idea!!!
owwwwwwwwwwwwwww what a fantastic hand me down...love old cameras.....and they sue do look they are leaning into eachother perfect match!! Great Shots!
I so did this week's theme too!
Hi there...I have been visiting for about three weeks and have adored all your themes and photos..Have just joined TUT (Week 2) and my husband wanted to know where the idea came from - so did some investigating and found it was you and Melody..Thanks for sharing a really great idea..I am loving the photography (very much a beginner) and the blogging and am learning so much that is new and often unexpected about my partner - we have been friends for about 14 years - so it just goes to show...My spot in cyber space is wwww.living-one-step-at-at-time.blogspot.com...
These shots look great together! The colours match perfectly. Love it!
