Theme Thursday: I Wish...

Owen and I went to the art studio yesterday and had a great time working with clay, painting masterpieces, and using pastels.

I wish that my boys would always retain their sense of curiosity and creativity as they grow up...

Great shots, Megan! What a fun place to go with your son. I love that you have a place to take him so he can be creative. I remember working with clay. It was so much fun to create with it.

I wish kids were more apt to create more as they grow up. In our society where kids don't want to try things if they aren't the best, it's just sad. They don't learn to enjoy the process and instead focus on the results. They need to remember that curiousity they had when they were small. :)

Your setting the foundation for retaining their creativity!! Good for you :)
How fun!! I've been wanting to get out the easel, paints and smocks. I HOPE we can get in some painted paper mache easter eggs soon!!
Thanks for the inspiration :)

What fun! That would be so cool to have a whole art studio to play in like that.

My first major in college was pottery, I love clay, and one day hope Wade will build me a kiln in my backyard. Ha, like that will ever happen.
