This week, it was Harrison's turn to be "Star of the Week" in his class. He got to fill out and decorate a poster about himself, post pictures on the bulletin board, and bring in his "treasures" to display. He was so excited. At the end of the week, we came to class to watch him present himself to the class:
After his presentation, the class asked him questions while he showed off his goods:
Even though every student has a turn being the "star," it was such a thrill for him to be able to show his classmates a little more about himself.
I was thrilled, too :).

That's so cool. When I was a teacher, I did the same thing, but I called it "top banana." I loved learning about my kids! Now the pets they brought in.....don't miss that. :)
Sweet! I'm glad he had his moment and you got to be there to ejoy it too~
A "picture" moment for sure! I know you both were PROUD parents. Isn't it just the best to see them grow and spread their wings....
That's awesome, I love his display of his things. He looks so proud.
How great for Harrison to get his turn to be the *Star*...Also great that you got to go see it.
Hmmm, some of those pictures on his board look very familiar. I bet he had the best looking pictures out of anyone in his class! :o)
What a neat teacher he must have..making all of the students feel special. Looks like a succesful presentation. You must be proud.
