I really didn't take any Easter-related photos. We had a couple of friends over for egg dyeing, so I was too busy supervising the process to snap any pics. With two boys, it's not as though they get new frilly Easter outfits, so no photos there. My one photo was taken after the baskets and eggs had been found on Easter morning, and the boys gathered at the kitchen table to examine the contents of their baskets.
I've seen so many pretty Easter photos of daffodils and lovely Easter eggs. Mine's more gritty: the loot's been found, and now the treasure's being counted :).

Kana thinks the boys could have easter bonnets.
I find myself taking more "snapshots" during holidays than I do more artistic photos. I'm all about documenting the "gritty". :-)
Gritty is good, especially when you get to share some of the goodies with mom ; ) (I'm lovin' the pastel m&ms!)
You know what, my Easter pictures look like that too. LOL
I haven't posted them yet, but they are definitely similar as the kids wouldn't even look up and smile and gee my oldest wouldn't even get off the phone! ;)
Great shot. I love the lighting. Your boys look very orderly and organized. I like that :)
That's the reality of the situation, though! They have to make sure they got the good stuff. Even my 3 year old was doing this.
Nice shot!
You can tell they are still a little sleepy too. I love shots of kids when they first wake up. My kids do the same thing.
I think that is an older kid thing to do....mine both go through what they have, sort it, examine it, eat some and bag up the rest.
Yum!
:)
It is always fun to see what you get on Easter morning. Great snapshot.
I can remember counting the treasure too! It doesnt have to be frilly....Chocolate is chocolate! :o)
Hey, let's face it... Not all (or even most) moments in our lives are pretty and frilly. Way to keep it real!
Oh, I agree...gritty is better any day! We like to see how you all are livin' over there. Livin' large on the chocolate score, too!
I love it, I like how they are still in their jammies.
