I am diligent about backing up my photos on disk. We recently got a wireless backup hard drive primarily so that I could back up data, particularly photos, on my computer. However, when it comes to scanning old photos, I'm way behind the curve. I have stacks of my albums from high school, college and beyond that need to be scanned and archived. Hmmmm....when is that going to happen? I can't even figure out my scanner.
Anyhooo, my favorite old photos are the black and whites from my parents' and grandparents' younger days. Some of them have actually been put on disk (not by me), and it's great to have them so easily accessible. From my family history, here are two of my favorites for today's theme:
