BSM: Just a Typical Week...

This past week, I did the usual things:

Hung out on the "couch" a lot...
feet at the river

Met some new neighbors...
bison

elk

Watched the violence and turbulence of daily life unfold...
old faithful

Did regular family activities...
natural bridge

You know, all the usual, pedestrian, boring stuff.

Oh yeah, there WAS that whole "spending a fabulous week at Yellowstone" thing, too...did I mention that? :)

Great photos of the vacation. We were gonna do Yellow Stone or Great Sand Dunes in Colorado this summer. We ended up going to the Sand Dunes this year and will probably hit Yellow Stone in years to come. I have yet to post my vacation pictures. This makes me want to.

Oh, that looks so wonderful! I can't believe how close you are to that buffalo!

We may brave the great outdoors with the girls this fall. Although, they have a tendency to complain about butterflies and dirt in their shoes.

WONDERFUL! I love the family shot in front of the sign. I have those of me and my family when I was young. Such grand memories!

You guys saw some great stuff while you were there. I've never been and hope to go someday. Although I have to say in high school on one of those family trips we encountered a buffalo in the Black Hills area just strolling down the middle of the two lane highway. Quite the experience. ; )

I love your comment on with the geyser though. Ah yes the turbulence of daily life.

Love the sign shot and the one of you on your couch wit your feet in the shot. Fun!

I would love to take my daughter to Yellowstone too. I have never been myself, but your pictures are just amazing. The wildlife is so beautiful...along with the scenery. Thank you for sharing!

I can't wait to start taking the outdoors vacations with the toddler.

This is AWESOME! Yellowstone is one of the (many) places that I have never been. But after seeing these shots, I think it just got moved up a little higher on my list!
