BSM: 8th Birthday Party

Yep, it's the big "EIGHT" this week at our house!  Harrison had his birthday party this weekend; he took two friends to the mini-golf/fun center for an afternoon of chaos...I mean, fun :).  They had a blast.

My "artistic" shot ;)

What happens when four boys try to putt out at the same time...

Great photos!

My oldest turned eight in December. I can relate... they grow up too fast!

Happy birthday to Harrison!

I am feeling much the same way, but my daughter just turned nineteen today! Oh, it hurts...it is shocking to every part of you!
Your photos are great. I love the colors and subtle edges. I like all of them, but my favorite is your artistic shot. Hope the birthday boy had a fun birthday! Keep enjoying these moments, and hold on to it all because the years keep zooming by...much too fast!

What fun! Happy birthday to the big boy. My girl is 2, but I know I'm going to blink and she'll be 8.

Too cute -- and mini golf, what a perfect activity! I love the group shot - they look like they had a great time!

I do love your artistic shot. I should "pencil in" an afternoon with PSE and learn something about it instead of stomping off when I don't like what I get!

I've got a 2 1/2 year old. My heart aches that one day she will be eight! How in the world are you handling it?

Megan - I host all of my pictures on flickr, and use those to post to my blog. I just think that gives me an easier time with the clarity and the size that I want.

If you select the picture that you want to use in flickr and click 'all sizes' on the top strip, you can pick what size you want, then just copy and paste the html code in the bottom box to your blog. You can still do this, even if you have the photo on flickr set to private or friends/family and people on your blog will still be able to see it.

Good luck!

Happy Birthday to your Harrison! He is tall! It looks like a lot of fun!

BTW, I agree with Maggie on the Flickr usage. I was able to get a larger picture in today's post by using my Flickr account.

Happy Birthday, Little Man! I love the foursome shot. We need to go find a miniature golf course. It has been way to long.
